Our destination today was the main purpose of our trip. Elizabeth had been to the Keukenhof several times when she was young but Graeme and Catherine had never been. We were so lucky that it was a beautiful sunny day.
Keukenhof was about 30 minutes from our hotel. When we arrived we realised what a popular place it is - there were loads of people pouring in. What a fabulous place it is.
Whilst some of the tulips were yet to come into flower, there were plenty of beautiful flowers to be seen and the scent from them was amazing. We happily wandered round taking in the vibrant colours and enjoying the environment. Whilst today was not as exciting for James as yesterday he did enjoy the play areas.
A non-floral highlight was a Dutch organ which entertained us with music by Neil Diamond, Ricky Martin and Coldplay.

After we had had our fill of Keukenhof, we drove up the road to the Tulip Barn where we were able to walk amongst the tulips and take even more photos.
Having not been either would love to go, looks beautiful
